As a part of Locate East Sussex’s Business Growth Week, they have teamed up with NatWest to bring you a series of webinars that will provide you with guidance and advice on how to navigate your path to business growth.

Who should attend?

This programme has been created for business owners. This is a chance for you to create your marketing strategy with the support of and also benefit from the experience and critical input of the other delegates.

It is a very detailed and specific programme, so it is essential that you fulfil the following criteria. Places are limited to 25 per webinar to ensure we are able to provide the support needed for each participant.

– Your company is based in East Sussex or Kent

Monday 20th February – Managing Unexpected Growth

  • In this session we’ll help you to analyse and assess existing growth and forecast growth patterns within your business. Discuss building a short, medium and long-term growth plan to help you achieve your goals. We will also look at identifying external growth factors, resourcing your business and growth planning.

Tuesday 21st February – Identifying & Reaching New Markets

  • In this workshop, we will help you to analyse your existing model, looking at changes in customer behaviour so we will discuss analysing the market and market trends which can help you explore, identify new opportunities and discuss understanding your existing customers and to reach new and right markets for your business.

Wednesday 22nd February – Responding to Change

  • In this session we’ll take a closer look at some of the challenges you face as a business leader, looking at the risk and opportunities and putting a plan in place to move forward. take a look at resilience planning, and consider how to develop and manage risk appetite within your business. Regularly manage your processes and operations to remain resilient. Set clear resilience targets to strength your business model now for the future.

Thursday 23rd February – Continuity & Resilience Planning

  • With so much learned with the benefit of hindsight following the Covid-19 situation and now the cost of living, it’s left many with thoughts around how they manage risk, opportunities and behaviours within their businesses that would allow them to react more resiliently should they find themselves in difficult situations. The tricky bit is, where do you start? During this webinar we will consider: How to develop and manage a risk appetite within your business, How to regularly manage your processes and operations to remain resilient & How to set clear resilience targets to strengthen your business model now for the future.

Friday 24th February – Pivoting & Diversifying your Business Model

  • In this workshop, we will explore the importance of knowing when and how to pivot your business model to respond to a changing market. We will discuss why it is important to be flexible and when to consider pivoting and how to pivot and diversify your business.

About the Organiser: Ameesha Bhugwandeen

Ameesha is a Local Enterprise Manager for Sussex and Gatwick whose role is to support businesses within the local area. Working closely within the business marketplace to support, develop and add value to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by providing business advice, bringing together local businesses and hosting regular events.

 

This workshop is provided courtesy of Locate East Sussex, a business support service delivered for companies located in the area covered by East Sussex County Council, paying business rates to either Eastbourne Borough Council, Hastings Borough Council, Lewes District Council, Rother District Council or Wealden District Council. Locate East Sussex who is funded by East Sussex County Council, the 5 District and Borough Council and the European Regional Development Fund, offer 12 hours free business support to businesses in the county or looking to relocate into the county, with advice, access to funding, and support with finding commercial property.
