The Lightbulb are happy to announce the start of 2 new fully funded training courses.
Starting a Business in a Digital World
Do you want to start your own business? If so, this highly engaging programme will give you the edge!
Combining two qualifications, “Creating a Business Startup” and “Digital Promotion for Business”, This course will get you prepared to set up and promote a new business.
What you will learn:
- Know the initial steps for a business Start up
- Understand the legal and financial considerations for a business
start-up - Develop a business plan
- Market your business including
- Digital Promotion
- Understanding Search Engine Optimization
- Understanding Social Media and making an impact
This Programme is delivered across 11 days over 4 weeks via zoom sessions (9.30am to 4.30pm), workbooks and 1-2-1 support.
- Week 1 – Weds 1st Sept – Thurs 2nd Sept – Fri 3rd Sept (3 days)
- Week 2 – Weds 8th Sept – Thurs 9th Sept – Fri 10th Sept (3 days)
- Week 3 – Mon 13th Sept – Tues 14th Sept – Thurs 16th Sept – Fri 17th
- Sept (4 days)
- Week 4 – Mon 20th Sept (1 day)
Digital Promotion for Business
A highly engaging training course that will give you the edge when applying for jobs.
This Level 2 Award “Digital Promotion for Business” will give you the understanding required to start a career in digital marketing and get you prepared to promote yourself to employers.
What you will learn:
Marketing a business including three units:
- Digital Promotion
- Understanding Search Engine Optimization
- Understanding Social Media and making an impact
This Programme is delivered across 5 days over 3 weeks via zoom sessions (9.30am to 4.30pm), workbooks and 1-2-1 support.
- Week 1 Thurs 23rd Sept – Fri 24th Sept (2 days)
- Week 2 Thurs 30th Sept – Fri 1st Oct (2 days)
- Week 3 Mon 4th Oct (1 day)
For both of theses courses you will need access to a laptop/PC and have Zoom & Microsoft Word.
