New short film launched by county council to attract global business to base operations in Essex

An extraordinary new window of opportunity has opened for global businesses to invest in Essex, thanks to a new film which showcases the County’s potential.

Extraordinary Business showcases international companies who have already successfully located in Essex and encourages their counterparts from across the continents to follow suit.

Cllr Lesley Wagland, Cabinet Member for Economic Renewal, Infrastructure and Planning at Essex County Council, said: “The Extraordinary Businesses film release is a fantastic opportunity to represent all that Essex has to offer businesses and international trade.

“Essex is uniquely positioned to be a prime location for business and growth, and the film perfectly highlights this, with the promotion of our gateways and ports, as well as boosting the outstanding local business and its skilled people. We need to share the message that Essex is truly an extraordinary place to do business.”

Essex County Council’s strategic plan, Everyone’s Essex, is committed to securing sustainable growth to its businesses and communities, which includes job growth for residents, providing further funding opportunities and nurturing a thriving, and greener, economy.
