Tilbury Business Grants (Tilbury CLLD)


What is it?

Whether you need new equipment, marketing or consultancy, the Tilbury CLLD Business grants could cover 50% of the costs for projects from £2000 to £8000.

Who is it for?

Your business must be based in the Tilbury CLLD area

  • Small and medium sizes enterprises
  • Sole traders
  • You must not have previously received a grant via Tilbury CLLD

South East Business Boost (SEEB)

Cash back grants for equipment and consultancy

What is it?

Whether you need new equipment, IT software or training, the SEBB programme could cover up to 30% of the costs, with Growth Grants available ranging from £1,000 to £10,000.

Funding is available to support participating businesses to grow.

Who is it for?

  • Small and medium sizes enterprises
  • Sole traders
  • You must not have previously received support via SEBB

LoCASE2 (Low Carbon Across the Southeast)

Match funding to help businesses become more energy efficient

40% match-funded grants of up to £10,000 to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint

  • Most SME businesses can apply for an Energy Efficiency grant to be spent on parts and installation costs for items such as; building improvements, heat exchangers, an energy efficient motor and other ways of making their business more energy efficient.
  • For organisations operating in the Low Carbon, Environmental Goods and Services sector (LCEGS), grants are available for businesses to expand and develop.

LoCASE2 Electric Vehicles

Grants for electric vehicles

Funding is available to help you purchase an electric vehicle for your business.

  • £5K limit to grants for electric vehicles.
  • Funding to cover the up-front payment only and NOT any ongoing finance agreement.
  • Value ceiling of £35k, however if costs exceed this due to specialist needs (such as lifting or racking) this can be looked at.
  • Emissions limits for Cars is CO2 emissions of less than 50g/km and can travel at least 112km (70 miles) without any emissions at all and Small Vans less than 2,500 kilograms (kg) gross vehicle weight, have CO2 emissions of less than 50g/km and can travel at least 96km (60 miles) without any emissions at all.

Manufacturing Growth Programme 2 (MGP2)

Up to 33.4% match funded grant to help SME Manufacturers to grow

The Manufacturing Growth Programme will work with to identify, understand, and remove any barriers to grow.  They offer matched funding for up 33.4% for:

  • Revenue grant for consultancy £5-10k
  • Capital grant for equipment, premises development, machinery and more. Less than £25k

Grants aimed at companies in the construction industry or part of the construction industry supply chain.

This is a supply chain development project offering 30% match funding grants for between £1-20k.

Who is it for?

  • SMEs in the construction and built environment sector
  • Entrepreneurs wanting to enter the sector
  • Companies wanting to join the sector’s supply chain
  • Companies from other sectors, that are already in the construction and built environment supply chain

TALE (Transport and Logistics Efficiencies)

Funding for projects that use data analytics as part of a logistics function

The TALE programme will fund up to 40% of your total project spend (with your company funding the other 60%). This can include elements of capital, revenue, software and consultancy costs.
• TALE Lite grants are worth between £1-2k and are available to help you purchase software and initial consultancy advice related to data.
• TALE Grants are worth between £1-10k and are available to support software, consultancy, or the purchase of equipment.

Examples include:

  • Software applications including tracking systems, warehouse management, stock control, security tools and market intelligence software
  • Consultants to advise on, or help implement a data use solution
  • Equipment for data collection and processing such as computers, ipads, telephones etc.
