2021 marks the 25th anniversary of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, which introduced statutory adjudication into UK construction. Their expert, Suryen Nullatamby, reflects on how the payment provisions and statutory adjudication have helped the construction industry in unlocking cash flow. Suryen will also look at recent case law and will consider how adjudication continues to meet the needs of construction.
