Introduction to the Nuclear Sector and Supply Chain Opportunities

With a number of existing nuclear sites within the south-east region and with additional new-build sites planned in the coming years, the Nuclear industry in the south-east is set to grow. Whilst there is a strong focus on the engineering-type disciplines, there are also many other businesses that can play a part and capitalise on the opportunities these developments provide, providing vital services during the works period and beyond.

But which companies are suitable to engage either directly or a secondary service companies to such Nuclear projects? And how do they get involved and register an interest?

Launched earlier this year, the Clean Growth South East programme aims to engage with businesses across Essex, Kent and East Sussex, to understand their challenges and opportunities around achieving clean growth and will develop practical actions to support businesses to become greener and grow in this exciting sector.
