An event hosted by Opportunity Harlow

With Nick Hancock, Financial Director, Somerset Larder

Working Together – Joint Ventures

This event explores when two or more suppliers need to collaborate which can be essential when bidding for a large contact that is beyond the capability of a single business.

Often larger businesses and organisations will not want to deal with lots of smaller suppliers from a particular sector, instead there will be an expectation (and quite often a requirement) for those suppliers to club together and act as one.

How should a small or medium sized business approach the collaboration and act as one entity? Our speaker will provide a real-life example of how a joint venture can work both for the immediate project and for growth in the future, focusing on practical considerations and benefits.

Who is the event for?

Small and medium sized businesses in Harlow that want to explore the option of creating a joint venture or collaboration in order to become a supplier for the public sector or larger businesses.
