Winning work in the public sector can be complex. Smaller businesses need to understand public sector frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS). This presentation explains what they are and how to set yourself up on frameworks and DPS plus other routes to public sector procurement contracts.

Jim will also share how the public sector awards contracts and the increasing importance placed on Social Value and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

With Jim Goodhead, Procurement Professional and Chartered Engineer

Jim Goodhead is a Procurement Professional and Chartered Engineer.  He has held high level supply chain and procurement leadership roles for 25 years across many industries and sectors.

Whether its public or private sector, Jim has vast experience and knowledge in procurement and supply chain situations.  His wealth of other professional skills included leadership, change management, negotiation, and team building.

At Hastingwood Interchange, take the 4th exit onto A414 in Harlow

Follow Second Ave/A1025 and Velizy Ave/A1019 to your destination – Harlow College

By bus:

Take the number 59 bus to Harlow Town Centre Bus Stop. From here, walk about 5 minutes (0.3 miles) and you will arrive at Harlow College
